Last Thing a Mouse Sees

    Thanks Sandi, I was having a tough day, it was about 95° and humid, in the shade and the D2x just didn't want to AF and track anything. A few did come out ok, but not to my expectations.

  10. Bay wing that is great coverage with a 70 to 200. I would think if you had really heavy haze from the humidity you could have AF troubles but I would also think the lens you were using (200MM) should have been OK. I have found this with long glass on these types of days and near a river it can get pretty hazy and the eagle nests here are all long photos.   11. No focusing problems there!!! I suppose the only comfort for the mousie is in the fact it must die of fright before the owl strikes. Fantastic photo!

    No probs with the haze, I was only about 10' from the bird, it was more a comment about my physical discomfort.....which can distract from the task at hand.
