this was a snatch and shoot as the ducks cared nothing about posing, composition etc

Thanks Louie, Yes, that D2H was a pretty good camera. That with the 300 2.8 and it was a super combination. It just lacks pixels now.

Thanks Allen, The image looks a bit dark on my end but I think that is from the sunlight on the foreground.

Thanks Jim, I really had to rush as the drake was peddling pretty fast. This was the only shot I had gotten of these two.

Thanks Klaus, I would be interested in your thoughts on cropping some from the top as suggested. I opted to leave it as it shows the source of the reflection and more woody habitat.

Greg, I think you'll loose some of the "swamp impression". I like the whole composition a lot.
