Lavender in Bloom

  2. Hi Virginia -

    I can almost smell the bouquet from your shot - I like the composition you chose.

    A few years back, I put in several lavender plants that lasted maybe two seasons before the Kansas summer heat (and mostly my inattention!) did them in. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed them.

    Thanks for sharing this, and of course I hope that your D70 is back for good!

    Oooh, I love lavendar....sprinkle a few blooms into a really hot bath and soak the day away!!!

    Lavenders are usually very busy and hard to frame as a group, but you have done a great job here. I like how the needles (leaves) are neatly lined up in the foreground, almost all symmetrical!
