LAX by the Sea

Discussion in 'Sports Photography' started by mike mac, Jun 20, 2007.

  1. Here are some more shots from the two day girls LAX tournament held in New Egypt, NJ. there were twelve fields at the site, some offered nice uncluttered backgrounds while others posed some distracting backgrounds, out of the twelve fields I shot on 7 different ones in the two days.
So after getting an idea what the field layout was you were hoping you got slotted on one of the god ones.
Let me tell you these girls came to play some of the best girls LAX action I have saw and several standout athletes also.
All shots with the D2X and the 300 2.8 with 1.4 tele shot at f4
#1 Now this girl was a player she was a delight to watch play

Mike....is there any sport that you can't shoot? Your images are so dramatic. The facial expressions and the body language that you captured is absolutely top shelf. Each time I view your images, it's like attending a sports photography seminar. Congratulations Mike, you deserve every last "atta boy" you get from this community.

    Simply put - Great !
  11. I have to say every time I see your posts I learn something new and try and apply it next time out. It seems to me that the vast majority of your images are of individuals in action not two or more players making contact or in some other type of action. Is this for the purpose of sales or more your personal style?
