d200 + 300/4
this is fun to shoot but much more difficult than soccer
since this is ncaa I do it for fun and give away the pics (beats watching TV)

only my 2nd LAX game ever and my 1st shooting a 300 in portrait mode 80% of the time...hard to follow the ball but lots of fun

i had great light, shot 300/4 in 1st 1/2 & 70-200 2.8 in
2nd 1/2...made it till about 7:30pm at iso 320

randy ... using the f4 ... nice job man ... did you desaturate the yellow channel to cool off the light or is that out of the camera man ? .... it looks good

i like my crops as is
i'm tired of seeing that little yellow ball and it's too hard to find it w/ one eye
i'm old, horizons are hard and i was on my knees
i can't take credit for the faces, the moms can tho

shooting sports w/ a long prime in portrait mode was very cumbersom(sp) for me yesterday but i am in training for te sig's arrival on monday
