I can't reason with a machine and have always had issues with how arbitrary they are to me.
The only time I lose all sense of maturity is when machines don't do what I paid for them to do. That explains why I no longer own a lawn mower, a leaf blower or anything of the sort. I'd rather whip out my plastic credit card and pay the people who do take care of my lawn. Those people deserve every penny they make and probably a lot more if for no other reason than that they have to put up with the very same machines that I've decided never, ever to have to deal with again.
