Learning to use the D300 on my BYBs.

  1. There is something to be said for the DX "reach". D300, 400 f/2.8 AF-S II, TC-17E II, SB800. Still trying to get used to settings and "best EV" etc., but I like the colors.

    Way to go Mike.......very nice captures! Like yourself I'm trying figure out what is the best metering to use on the D300.

    nice work
    maybe a little dark but levels or EV in PP should help
    if you shot these in jpg try lightroom, it's amazing what it can do for a jpg (I used to think you needed a nef to make those kind of light changes)
