Beautifully seen.
Did you try monochrome?
Not your “regular” image, but it has you written all over it.
Well done
Gary
Thanks Gary...here's the B&W conversion:

I regret not doing a focus stack for this image.

A really inspiring image. Fabulous eye!

What kind of leaf is it?

Try running it through Topaz Sharpen AI.
Thanks Mike...I wish I knew what kind of leaf it is. If anyone knows, I hope they will chime in.

I never thought about Topaz Sharpen AI and I own the plug in. I ran it through and while it couldn't sharpen everything, I think it improved the photo. Here's after the plug in was applied:

This is only the second time I've reminded you about it. You'll eventually remember that you've got it. :ROFLMAO:

I like this a lot, but I much prefer the color version.
As much as I thoroughly enjoy monochromes, I agree about the importance of the color in this particular image. The realism really helps this image for me and any scene presented in monochrome is at least a little unrealistic.

Maybe the third time will be a charm!

I think the color version works better for the reason you described.

Thanks again...
