Lens Hood Issue: AF-S 300 f/4

Who knows how to remove and re-seal the lens hood on an AF-S 300 f/4? Mine's kinked and stuck. Same thing happened on another 300 f/4 I rented last year.

hmmmm was just looking at some pics on a guys site answering a question I posted about split nd filters. He had a pic of a tiny c-clamp gluing a plastic pin back on a 300 hood. You might see if that's your hood and if it is mail him

That stinks! The same moron who designed the hood must have worked on the tripod foot. :frown:
