I was out in the backyard and spotted the hummingbird at my neighbors feeder, managed to track it to the bushes where it rested for a short moment.

@300mm and handheld, and cropped down much. So the quality isn't particulary striking but thought the moment was special.

And, I will return this lens to my friend. He referred it as "crappy"
I say I'll get a prime tele one of these days.

Ok..now it is gone. That's strange.
I use pbase as my host. Do I use the [IMG] brackets here?
  4. Red X here for me too.
The URL doens't look like the ones I get when I post from Pbase.
    Perhaps try it again.

  5. No image here for me either, Linda. It does work if I plug the location into another browser window, though. Cute little birds they are!

I assume you're referring to the 70-300? What version? Nikon? Sigma? I had one of the Sigmas for a while and quickly grew to hate it. Very soft.

  7. You're making it too tough, Linda. Just pull up the picture and copy the URL line, like so.

Then add .jpg to it, and surround it with the img tags, and you'll get the following result.

Geez, I forgot to put that in, didn't I. With a newborn, colicky too, I'm a bit shattered in my brain.

    It's a Tamron 70-300mm
