It's been a difficult year to get out and capture much ... and I'm not sure if this is "good enough" or not for this thread. But, I shot this on Fox Island on Puget Sound. What I like about this is the way it really captures some of the essence of the Northwest ... the sea and the mountains.

Best Landscape Shot 2008.

Perhaps not the best one from this year but one I like very much. This shot was posted in the landscape forum just recently. For this I went with my oldest, less tech cam I own and it happens to be a point and shoot from 2001, the Coolpix 995.
