My attempt with Bip & Bop

Mitchell appears to have had more cooperation from his subjects.

This was what we used for our Christmas card. It has a few problems, but it's only my second attempt at "studio" portraits. Bip (aka Sofia) didn't really want to stand still and added some wrinkles to the backdrop. Bop (aka Calvin) wanted to eat the beads.

The second place picture (only because his head was down).
  5. Marshall,
Thanks for sharing. The second picture is really priceless. Perhaps a tighter crop would really make this one a great holiday card and keepsake.

Where are everyone else's holiday photos? C'mon and share the pics!

My daughters are 9 and 6, so I’ve been doing the holiday photo thing for a good number of years. I wish I could tell you that it gets easier, but I really can’t. Twice I’ve had to “borrow a head” with some help from Photoshop. Mitchell deserves huge praise for getting his three children to look so good. Despite big plans to take shots of my girls together throughout the year, as the holidays approach I find myself corralling my less than enthusiastic subjects for a hurried series of shots.

Here’s what I uploaded to Mpix this weekend for mass printing.
