Wow I had no idea they even made an 800. That's nuts!

  5. ...an 800/5.6 and a 300-800/5.6 zoom, affectionately referred to as the "Sigmonster".

The neat thing is the 300-800/5.6 is only a $500 premium over the prime.

    The kingfisher is superb!

I have very limited experience with the Sigmonster. I've borrowed the lens from a friend of mine for a couple of days. This zoomlens is incredibly sharp, a match for every long prime from Nikon and Canon. And if you put some believe in the reviews on the internet, even better than the 800 mm prime.
I will not bore you with my photo's, but take a look at the site of the owner of
the formentioned lens to get an idea of what this zoomlens is capable of.

What kind of support were you using?

    What is post routine?

Your exif is stripped... what are the details?

The first and third look to be using fill flash, given subject size possibly from a BB? Yes?

    More details please.

  15. Cool Bunny Wrabbit but the Kingfisher is awesome!!

  18. So, let's see. To date we have, let us count them now, exactly 1 person with images, and I didn't even need to take my socks off to count :). Send me the lens for a while, and I'll show you what is better , ok, maybe not better, but certainly "different"

Somehow I think I have commented on all these somewhere, and what is there say other than Great ... well ... can I add Jealous??????

  19. I've got to get me one of those.

  20. That kingfisher shot is truly amazing.

Your next assignment, to really impress: let's see some shots with that thing handheld.
