I saw this thread https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/63325187 on DPreview about the recent Steve Perry video on the Wimberley monopod gimbal head. in it, the OP mentioned not liking RRS stuff because of the owners politics and prices. I could care less about his politics, but the pricing is up there, but I do think the equipment is very well made. With the exception of a lens plate that Trench Monkey turned me onto, and a Wimberley gimbal all my camera support gear is from RRS. The OP included a link to a clamp he found on EBay, I've posted the link below. I read thru this thread and all the comments and decided to order one of these clamps, I had a few bucks sitting around in Paypal I didn't know what to do with. Clamp got here today. Appears to be very well made, I have 3 RRS clamps I can compare it with and it came with various screws and an allen wrench. Easily screwed onto my RRS monopod, and the RRS dovetails I have on my BH-55 and Wimberley fit nicely - I do not plan on putting the BH-55 on my monopod - I've read a lot of horror stories about people who did that. I should admit I've had this monopod and it's RRS head sitting around for 4 or 5 years and have never gotten around to using it, but someday I might want to and now it's set up like my tripod which makes things handy.
