Light Painting

Discussion in 'Macro, Flowers, Insects, and Greenery' started by David Collignon, Nov 7, 2005.

  1. My daughter who is 8 asked if we could try some light painting tonight. So on our walk back from her piano class we found one of the last roses around as we had a pretty good frost last night. We got the rose home and started practicing with the flashlight and all of a sudden there was a tiny ladybug crawling out of the flower. Talk about luck....something we never expected to see at this time of the year. Anyway he made a good prop for her first light painting. Judging by the final outcome I have a feeling that Jenna and Daddy will be doing more light painting real soon.
    Thanks Uncle Doug

Sure hope you have a space on your wall for this one. It's a gem. Someday, when I grow up, I'm going to be able to do as well as Jenna.
And hope you are taking care of the cute ladybug.

  4. Hi Gaye

Yes I don't know how that poor little ladybug is still living as it got a little cold out last night.
Yes indeed I may have to find a place on the wall for her first go at it.
Hope all is well and will talk to you again soon

That is a great Shot! Way to go Jenna and Dave.
  12. Hi Gilles

No not in this case. Because the object was quite small I think we used about 8-10 seconds or so.
