Lightroom 2 Edit in Photoshop Bug

Seems to be a bug in Lightroom 2 when you edit in Photoshop. When you finish editing in Photoshop and save, the edited file is saved in the same folder as the original, but not automatically imported into Lightroom. You have to manually import it if you want it in your catalog. The workaround I found online is to set your preferences up so that Photoshop.exe is the second choice for external editing. If you edit in Photoshop.exe all works normally.

Not so on my machine which has CS3 as first editing preference. Are you sure you are not using "Save As"? You have to use "Save" to make sure it is automatically imported into LR.

Thanks, John. I am using Save. This is apparently a real bug. 142 posts on it already on the Adobe Lightroom Support Forum.

Yep, I found that too but once set up as an alternative it works fine in the primary choice as well. !!??!!
