I have just downloaded the beta of LR.5 so far I am impressed.When I first had a look at it I said what the hell would I want to get this for as it seemed that their wasn't much if and difference that LR4.Boy was I so wrong.
Here is the first B&W conversion with it.What do you think.

Hi Darren.I was never rely happy with the B&W conversions that I was getting from LR4. I think that LR.5 looks crisper.
Then their is the spot healing brush. Now you can paint like CS.Not just a circle.
Then you have the new Radial filter. This is a wonder addition to have.
Then the lens correction.This is super also,just scroll down to the bottom of the LC panel and there you will find the the vertical and horizontal tools.These are so much more accurate.
I am still finding more new things the longer that I play with it.Please remember I have only downloaded LR.5 today and this is the first image that I used it on.

No problem Darren. I think that LR.5 will cover 95+% or more of most photographers needs.
