Like Father, Like Son ...

Our son, Ryan (left) and a good friend at his ROTC detachment's annual Dining In (formal military dinner) this past weekend.

Ryan, was in charge of the event this year and he tells me it came off pretty well.

The very proud Papa moment comes from Ryan's wear of a Mess Dress, the USAF's formal dress uniform. He was the only cadet to have one. That's because the USAF has not changed the design of the mess dress in many years ... and he was able to fit into my old uniform!!!

very nice and that he had that uniform to wear is even better
I do not think I could have fit into my fathers uniform at that age. He was a stick figure who gained weight during basic in the army.
