3whiteroses, do mind if I ask what kind of settings you used and what the outside lighting was like? That shot is absolutely INCREDIBLE in my opinion

not as nice as the rest in here, but I did have a volunteer to hold my umbrella last spring while I shot some baseball photos in the pouring rain

Thanks everyone for posting your rain photos - they look great! And thanks to everyone for comments

eL eSs Vee - very nice capture - I love the texture and pattern - the wetness makes the colors look saturated.

Corns5 - your flowers are beautiful yellow and I love the waterdrops on the petals.

PatS45 - great abstract - the blue is wonderful. Remindes of a shot I did in my car when it was raining - I just pointed my camera to the sun roof and took a photo.

Whitecapwendy - Fantastic - I love how you capture the ball player with the rain.

Post Processing in Photoshop - I did some tonemapping
Also I shot this towards the end of the day when the sun was setting - it really was not cloudy - one of those days when the sun shines and the rain drizzles quickly.

I hope everyone keeps the rain shots coming.
