This is a bird we don't get to see much of around the greater NW, so I was pleased to have found a number of them during my visit to Florida.

Excellent! That first image is stunning!!!! Love the soft colors and background! Strong composition with the diagonal perch! And the flowers add a bit of color and are the "cherry on top" accent.

It was great catching one in the open!
Thank you Allan.

Nice shots! I've never seen one here in the PNW.
Thanks a lot Jeff. Oh, they are here but few and far between.

Louie......terrific shot........especially in the shade/overcast lighting. I love getting them like this to make their colors come out. You did it.
Thanks very much, it was indeed raining pretty good when I spotted this guy.

Nice captures Louis.
Appreciate it, thanks.

Very nice. I prefer the body position in number 1.

Louis, these are outstanding images. Like others, the first one is somehow even more outstanding, but both are seriously fine photos. We take thousands of photos, and while most are good, very good, and are images we can be proud to have managed, every now and then some of them just pop and rise above the others. This is that situation.

I would hang both of these in my home for sure. Kudos!
