Little Money.. great glass

    I really wondered about the 50mm 1.8 af Nikon.. how could a lens that is this cheap be that good. well I found out.. went and got one.. 145 complete with a muti coat uv filter.. now I need a CP filter for it.. it has become my on camera lens after the 1st time out with it.. if you don;t have one.. GET ONE.

  2. Really a great lens, especially at that price, and great for AL!
    The second photo is quite picturesque...
     
  3. Good pics and good glass. I only have the old AIS version, and I'm hoping to replace it with another one with a firmer focus ring.

    I also only use it on film these days. I used to do a lot of stuff with the AFD model on DSLR, but everyone's already seen those old photos too many times. :)

    Mine hasn't seen much use lately but I still can't bear to part with it.
