I had the pleasure of shooting baseball today with Frank and Ty...They are two of the nicest people I have ever met..And we had fun shooting a college baseball game together...

Here are a few of mine ...I will get mine out of the way so they can post their great captures.

And Ty / Frank....I am now off to get all the dust off ...

We did have a good time...We had that field surrounded for sure...Frank down the
1st baseline, me behind the plate and Ty on the 3rd baseline.

While I agree #2 is superb, for some reason, I really like #3 of the pitcher. It just seemed like you really captured his intensity.
All are superb examples of great baseball photography.
    (hey just cause I can't shoot it, doesn't mean I can't recognize it when I see it.. )

I think that you did just fine today, not a thing wrong with this series. Your captures behind the backstop ended with real nice results. I should have taken the TC off, but I was concerned about the dust, I would have enjoyed getting some infield shots like yours. The TC was a bit too much focal length for appreciable shots.

  14. Hey Rod,

Great stuff! I think your shot is way better than the one I posted. I like your much better. We will have to get together again real soon. Thanks so much for metting us, it was a blast.
