Time to share something other than shorebirds. I found it difficult trying to really bring out his eye. Difficult bird for me to expose

A very cool bird to shoot. They will pin bugs, small lizards, etc on thorns or barb wire in their home area. Something to look for. Take your own bug next trip. With that black/white thing going on they can be a bugger to shoot in harsh light. Your photo is very well done.

Yes they are tough to shoot. You have to get the sun shine right on the side of face.
