Hey guys! Let me first say that I am in constant awe of the photos you guys snap. It really is an inspiration to become a better photographer.

Anyway, I just got back from a London/Paris trip. It was my first time visiting either city and I must say, they were both spectacular even though it was overcast and dreary almost every day (not unexpected though). I don't know if it was just that I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the sights or what, but I felt off my photog game. I never got the shot I wanted and I was struggling to get the image I envisioned. Most of these are slightly shopped to try and adjust the white balance, but other than that, not much (if any) further editing.

I'd love to hear some critiques or suggestions on how to shoot better on overcast days. It's a Nikon D5000 and I only brought the 18-55mm. On to the pics!

I really like the one from Sainte Chapelle (it would be nice to see everything until the floor, though and do some pp to recover some shadows from the walls) and the one from the Big Ben (very nice and unsual perspective...)
Keep posting!

I think you've gotten some unique perspectives here, and I really like the last image. Take care to make sure your photos are straight. In the first one, it's tilted to the left.
