London’s museums are some of the best. There is no entrance fee, but donations are suggested. What a treasury for the eye to behold! These images are from the National Gallery, The National Portrait Gallery and the Tate Modern, places I visited after everyone else had gone. Here are few images I got before I learned no photography was allowed.
The Sigma 30mm f/1.4 was perfect for these low lighting conditions. Unfortunately some of these aren't as sharp as I would have liked them to be, but there wasn't an opportunity to reshoot them. They were all done handheld, many with very low shutter speeds

The lobby of the National Gallery
This is a view of Room 36 at the National Gallery. The architecture is as impressive as the art work.
School children were here in droves, some a young as six. They looked so cute in their uniforms. I listened to one presenter explain to a group of students and was amazed at how cleverly she involved the students. What a great learning opportunity these kids have.
This is a view into one of the rooms in the National Portrait Gallery.
And now some of the glorious portraits you can see there!
Henry, the VIII’s son
Sir Isaac Newton
The color and detail was amazing.
This one has an incredibly beautiful frame.
The Tate Modern, by comparison, wasn’t nearly as interesting.
The Great Hall at the Tate Modern
A mobile hanging from the ceiling
An art piece on the wall
