    Just thought I'd pass this along to anyone looking for a 200-400 VR lens.

    Anacortes Telescope, in Anacortes, Washington, is selling a brand new USA version 200-400 VR lens (yes, with full warranty) for $4,799!! :eek: 

    Beat that!!

    Yes, it's for real. I called them. They are a very reputable high-end optics retailer.
    They're local, and I almost got into my car and drove over there to grab it.

    They've had the lens for awhile and decided to sell it below their cost to reduce their taxable inventory.

    That's a few hundred below B&H, but I doubt it is below their cost.

    Still, a good price.
