If so, consider the 60mm micro... it ROCKS! Mine paid for itself last week when I used it for a product shoot...

Then I picked up a POTD with it on Sunday for a macro...

... and used it today to make some artwork for a florist neighbor who creates wonderful tin can bouquets. No money in it, but I got to keep the flowers :).

If you don't need the extra working distance for bug-pics, this little jewel deserves consideration 8).

Thanks, Gordon. The 60mm micro delivers colorful, contrasty images, but that seem to be the hallmark of good Nikon glass. And while 3rd party lenses compare well in terms of sharpness, most seem to fall short in those areas.

Here's another perspective on the Tin Can Arrangement, which I like even better.

Glad you like it, Flew! FCB background florals were my specialty before I moved up to a dslr.
I was burned out on them for a while, but they might be my most salable niche. Hmmmm...
