Looking for sugestions

My kit is lacking from the 70-135 range. I'm not interested it the 70-200mm. I would prefer a prime or two to cover this range. Uses would be general telephoto work and some portraiture.
I'm interested in the tamron 90mm and tokina's 100mm.
The only other lens I know of would be a 135mm DC. Is there another lens around the 135mm range?

I've had some of my favorite shots come through my Nikkor 105mm F/2.8D AF Micro. Some were closeups, but most have been regular shots.

I agree with captaincarl....the 105/2.8 VR is a superb multi-purpose lens. Lots of bang for the $. I also have the 135/2.8 AIS lens. Beautiful glass if you like a MF prime. A low budget purchase on KEH. Highly recommended. Good luck!

I think the 135/2.8 AIS sounds good. I know it won't meter on my camera now but I plan on adding a D300 soon. If it goes well maybe one of the 105 AIS versions.
