  14. Wow. Well seen, beautiful image.
    Before you print this, I would get rid of the few vague hints of flowers and leaves in the black background. About 10seconds of work in photoshop.
    There are great images everywhere, we just have to see them. Seeing is the hard part. Well done.

    The vague details in the background add a bit a mystery and complement the subject for me. Whether getting rid of them or leaving them as is is purely an artistic decision.
     
  17. That must have been at one of the ponds at Green Spring......it’s been a while since I’ve been over there now, even though I don’t live too far from it, but, yes, the entire place is wonderful for photography!

    My guess is that the dramatic lighting effect was also at least partially created by the thoughtful use of spot metering.....
