i just shot a wedding for a friend. I knew there was a reason I stopped shooting but she asked and it was long enough ago, I forget the pain involved in an afternoon wedding outside in the heat and full sun till total darkness occurs. I will post some pics as soon as I get some to the couple but I will say the D5 conquered the night. The wedding and reception were in the field and and then in an old barn. It was lit by a few strings of white Christmas lights only hung in the rafters and outside string to poles around the gravel lot that was for car that became the dance floor. It was totally dark at 9 pm and with just a bit of light I got focus on almost all the shots I took and even focused in their car and there was no light. I have to say I love this camera and I also shot my D800 as the 850 has not arrived in the first batch and I know I am number 16 on the list. I will attach some pics to this soon.
