I would love to learn how to use this, but for some reason I can't get it to apply to the photo correctly? Anyone possibly know any links to detailed instructions to help with intruction?
I am no expert but Lucis can do great things....however, it can also look ghastly in some cases.
I think it really is trial and error.
BUT.....I would alawys do my work on a duplicate layer....or layers, then if you go a little too far, just decrease the opacity of that Lucis layer and the original pulls it back.
Thanks for your help. I tried to use the Wyeth filter at 75% at a duplicated layer. On the lucis art screen it looks perfect, but as soon as I apply it to the layer it looks horrible. My other issue is I am having a hard time applying the layer.
You couild try it at say20% and then redo etc over again until you get just what you want...
I apreciate what you say about it looking ok on the small Lucis screen....once you apply it and it becomes larger....that is when you can really see - as you have done.
I would try gradual increases as a starter and do on different layers to adjust opacity and possibly even mode of the layer perhaps???
