I just love it when people comment on how lucky I must be when I get a nice wildlife image. Below is what luck looks like. Taken in Ontario on a snowy owl shoot. That's not me(note the Canon strap). I was the one behind the viewfinder.

You must have a bigger camera than he does!
Not bigger just better :)
...They don't see the all the times you hang out in cold and wet conditions and come home empty handed.
Nor the miles of hiking with all the gear, travel expense, investment in equipment, etc, etc.

Another one I like is when I pull out my phone to show someone a close up/portrait of a bear, eagle, etc, and they ask me if I took that shot with my phone :confused:
No mosquitos that's a big plus in that wheather
Good point. No worries about getting deet on the equipment or getting frustrated with a head net. Though in Alaska I have been walking knee deep in snow while being assailed by mosquitoes. Which just isn't right!
