Just in case you missed the post - Lunar eclipse
No eclipse visible in Europe - arrgggghhhh !!!
note, there is a photography page link off Roy's page suggestion...
You obviously missed the one in March then, such a pity i didn't have a camera back then, it was a perfect night for viewing it from up here, no clouds whatsoever.
I'll find the link again and post it in here as it gives dates of all the lunar eclipses up until 2010 i believe.
Edited to add the following link - NASA Lunar Eclipse Site
Nice catch there Doug, i didn't see that.
Well, I caught the March one, camera set up, clouds rolled in, I went inside !!! Popped out every so often, saw the red moon hiding behind light clouds and didn't get a single decent picture.
Was an excellent evening/night up here, saw the whole thing without so much as a sniff of a cloud, didn't have a camera worth squat to shoot it with though.
Should be fun and I am in a perfect spot to capture it.
Bump - Just to remind you folks - Nasa's Lunar Eclipse page - 28th Aug
Thanks for the reminder Roy. I plan to wake up early and capture it.
Your welcome, i wish I'd had a decent camera when the last one happened in March that we had full view off, I'll just have to content myself with reliving it through some of your images though.
