I decided to give this another try using my 8” Celestron C8 classic. 24 images stacked and edited in Pixinsight. I am eagerly awaiting for the perfect night for my next target... M31!

I like it. This was the object I chose for my very first astro-photo, way back in 1985. It did not come out this good!

I believe you've got me infected... :wideyed: :wideyed: :wideyed: .

One day I'll have to try it too.

    Kind regards

  4. Nice capture! What camera were you using? M31 is tough to get it right. But, anxiously awaiting a few more months to get Orion back in view before midnight.
