I thought I'd pass along an invite, especially as it's free!
Next Weds evening, 3/10/10 from 7:30 to 8:30, I'll be giving a presentation of wildlife / bird (emphasis will be on avian) photography on the North shore / Merrimack Valley.
Rather than just running through a bunch of nice images (we will of course have some of those), I'll be lightly talking about the technical aspects of equipment, coupled with the how, why, when and where's of how I create images. There's a lot more to it than just having the right gear...you need to understand your subjects and how they relate to their environment on a daily if not hourly basis.
Not much is free these days
If you live in the area and could make it, it will hopefully be a productive time...albeit short.
