Greg, I also have a PWD. I must have missed your previous posts about your dog having a fear of water. Perhaps it is the chlorine :)

Greg - this is a great series - a lot of fun!! One of my dogs LOVES the water and the other freaks out and just starts to sink so we don't take them swimming very often!

  6. chlorine isn't good for any dog, of course
but.... disco never liked the salt water, either
we live only a couple of blocks from the gulf of mexico

it's funny to watch disco outside, after the rain
she'll walk 3 blocks to avoid a PUDDLE..

i'd love to see some pictures of YOUR portie... please

  7. dogs and water are fun
our last sheltie, spalding (hence, my screen name) was a great swimmer
angus... he doesn't mind being in the pool... he just can't figure it all out

  8. ROTFL... Great series of shots Greg...
Disco does not look like one happy pooch... LOL...

Come to think of it, our 2 retrievers are water babies either...
At the beach they might just get there paws wet but thats it.... ))

  9. thanks, wally
she was as UNthrilled as you can get

Very fun series Greg. A water dog that hates water. You can almost see the disgust in Disco's eyes. Mac looks like she could earn some money at the beach as life guard. I enjoyed watching this sequence.

  12. thanks, torben
    i really appreciate that

disco is quite a funny little lady
as for mac and the lifeguard issue... sounds like a great idea to me

  13. thank you, steve
actually.... disco is just the same... she loves us, as long as we aren't in or around the pool
