Here are another couple of early-learning-curve tries.

Late dusk,1 sec, shaky tropod up at 7 feet, dim light so I could get sharper.

We've all heard of the instinctive ferocity of a mother bear protecting her cubs.

I suspect that if calculated a fight per milligram ratio the ursine moms would fall into second place when pitted against this little nest tender.

This one didn't take it's hyper-vigilant little poly-faceted eyes off of me.
Unlike bees they can sting you again and again until you get the message...leave, please!

Not as sharp as it could be. Tripod extended all the way up to the eaves outside my kitchen.
