Unfortunately (yet fortunately, I guess...), most of the animals were inside. I don't think the shots turned out too bad.
Full set can be found here.
The ones I found the best, were the following...
Great Indian Rhino:
Nicobar Pigeon:
Lowland Gorilla:

Northern Bald Eagle:

Rufous-banded Owl

All were shot with a Nikon D80, with either a 50mm f/1.8, or a 70-200 f/2.8
I'm not one to shoot animals outside of my aquarium, and dog, but I enjoyed getting to use these two lenses at the zoo. The only unfortunate part, was shooting outside (approx. 32F weather), and then entering the Rainforest section. My camera didn't like the change, and had to wait for a while for the foggyness on the lens to clear away.
I don't think I did too bad. Going to see about making it back to the zoo in the summer, when the exotic animals are out everywhere. Seemed about 1/2 of them were in hibernation, or just not there because of the cold.
