Madikwe Safari - Day 1

The Madikwe Game Reserve is North East of Johannesburg, close to South Africa's border with Botswana. The drive from Jo'Burg takes about 4 hours but it is also possible to access the reserve by light aircraft. Some of the lodges cater for day visitors from Gaborone. I spent a most enjoyable 5 nights at the Etali Lodge. These are the shots I took during the first game drive.

By the way, if accuracy is important to you, note that the spelling is Madikwe, not Madiwke.
