Critique Making croutons -- 2nd PHOTO ADDED

These croutons are for tonight's duck cassoulet made the quick way. The first photo is of the bread cut into the shape of croutons and the second photo is of the seasoned, baked croutons.

Thank you to Nick, Mitch, West and Lyndee!

Thick soups—cream of xyz, lentil - yeah especially lentil.
Cream of anything is too unhealthy for our household and lentils have too little flavor for our household.

This reminds me to make some split pea soup with ham.
I regularly prepare a special succotash with ham that is typically topped with sauteed shrimp, and I could easily replace the shrimp with the croutons. Thanks for the idea!
