There's a male/female pair that have been at the feeder at the same time (but I never have my camera ready). Today the male visited.

Nice - 1 is a classic!
Thanks Allan. So happy they trust me to keep coming around.

Love that first shot. Nicely captured. It's amazing how much material those guys can remove from a dead tree.
When they drum on the trees, it's like a bass drum.

VERY nice Mike.

I've never been able to get anywhere near they close to Pileated WP.
Thanks Phil. I was amazed he let me open the door and click away with that noisy D3 for a couple minutes.

Super shots Mike, good detail and you caught him at the exact right moment.
Thanks Louis!

Fantastic shots Mike.
Beautiful colors. 🙂
Thanks Bob! They are magnificent looking birds. A pair, so I hope I'll get fledglings.

It doesn’t get any better than 1 and 2
Thanks Randy, That 3rd shot was actually one of the first and was through my kitchen door window. Thought that's as good as I would get lol. Could not believe he let me open the door, set the camera closer, and snap away.

Nice shot. Saw one a few days ago at our place in northern Michigan, attacking the suet placed in a bird feeder the previous day. OMG, he was gigantic!
