Male Pileated Woodpecker Visited Today

There's a male/female pair that have been at the feeder at the same time (but I never have my camera ready). Today the male visited.

Thanks! They’re usually interested in the suet. But this guy seemed to enjoy the seed feeder, which is now a mix of sunflowers and the red-pepper anti-squirrel blend.

Thanks Randy, That 3rd shot was actually one of the first and was through my kitchen door window. Thought that's as good as I would get lol. Could not believe he let me open the door, set the camera closer, and snap away.

Nice shot. Saw one a few days ago at our place in northern Michigan, attacking the suet placed in a bird feeder the previous day. OMG, he was gigantic!
