He also has a house (well, I guess you could call it a house  ) in my town, but I never see him walking or riding on a bike.
I guess we're not traveling the same path. :frown:

    Too funny...

"Mr. Loeser said the mayor “walked to the subway when he first started as mayor, and he stopped doing it when cameras staked out his house every morning and walked with him.” "

Hmm maybe this is the real reason for the new ordinance being passed in NY.

I heard on the news this morning that you must have a permit from city hall and carry $1 mil in insurance if you intend to photograph in one area for more than 30 mins. Supposedly it doesn't include tourists though?!?!

I haven't looked into it so I may not have all the details right.

  5. The man does a good job and does not take pay for doing it. Cut him a little slack.

Yes Joe, Mayor Mike is behind a lot of new rules and regs.

For example Mayor Mike thinks the English system of congestion pricing in effect in London would be a wonderful thing for New York. Currently in London the pricing scheme is going to apply a 25 Pound fee to any SUV's entering the city over and above the normal fee during peak periods.

I personally think that Mayor Mike has looked at the congestion pricing thing an decided that it is the best way to get rid of the army of meter maids in NYC.

You see if he just charges everyone before they get to town then there is no longer a need to give out parking violation tickets. That and the fact that rather than the few paying a lot, this way the many pay a little. And this would make Mayor Mike feel good as it is a more (socialist) fair way to treat those pesky drivers entering the city every day.

Don't you just love NY! I do!
