I went on photoshot today and put on my mb-d200, the normal way, as I have done many, many times before.
The day is over, and I am trying to take the grip off, and it's a no-go.

    The thing is stuck!!!
The tightening ring barely moves to the left and right.

Anyone else have problems? I have no idea how to take it off now.

Take it to a camera shop.

If your avatar is a photo of you they will be tripping over themselves to help you out (no charge, of course).

    No! lol

Well I went to the local camera shop. The guy said he has seen something like this before (2-4times)
The main gear, which happens to be freaking plastic as all the other gears are metal, in the rotating assembly is stripped and stuck.
He said he can try to get it out, or try to get it at least unstuck and replace the gears, but if all else fails, he will have to break apart and destroy some parts on the grip.

I got quoted $150.00 to try to get it opened and unstuck without the actual replacement parts in the price.

Seems freaking hefty, I think I might just give it a go.

That is some good info to know!
Now I have to see if I can get my MB-D200 loose...

    That's funny.

Everyone in my office loves that show and has been trying to get me to watch it.

Jenna might be as good a reason as any...

Good luck with the stuck grip (plastic gears???).
