Cute little almost-2-yr. old. Cute, but active. Man I forget what they are like at that age. The entire hour he did not stop moving, not once! Every shot was an action shot, I kid you not. Even the ones where it looks like he was sitting were only for that split second. I'm afraid that a few aren't as sharp as what I'd have liked... I really have to practice shooting my moving targets!
All shot with D2X + 70-200VR/50 1.4 @ f/2-2.8.

And he liked the suckers I brought to distract him and make him happy:

LOVE #6 and #7  Good job,

Jonny
Thanks, Jonny!

Nice photos, 2 is my favorite.
Thank you.

#6 and 7 are the winners for me. Your processing on them is spot on. Good job, Shaun!
Thanks, Mike. I was wondering if there would be comments about the processing. I know some people have developed a consistent look to their picture sets/processing, but over time, I have developed into the style of processing each picture in its own unique way... I guess I just try to process it as the mood of the picture strikes me. I just hope that it's not too "random" of a style. Thanks for your comments! Much appreciated.

I'm a sucker for the kighting in #2. I like the poses in #6 and 7 like the others, but adore the soft light in #2.

Speaking of suckers, nice prop to get Ryker to relax. Gotta remember that one.

Ah, Smarties... that would have been a much "smarter" choice! He drooled so much with this sucker that I had a bit of cloning to do on his vest front! But, I also thought the shots of him eating the sucker were very cute. I will have to give the Smarties a try... with kids of my own at home, we always have a bag of them around! Thanks for the view, Elizabeth!

I stole the idea from my sister! Also, with smarties, if you tell them "Smile big and you'll get smarties when we're done!" and they say "SMARTIES!" It helps with the smile aspect of things as well!

I usually have to hide them from myself otherwise I'll open my camera bag and say "Mmmm Smarties!" and then I don't have any for pictures! :frown:
