These images were taken in the National Military Sections in Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville Ky. It is the only cemetery that I know of that contains graves of both Union and Confederate veterans.

Images 10 & 11 were taken in the Zachary Taylor National cemetery, also, near Louisville Ky. There are over 13,000 veterans from six different wars buried here.

The man in image 10, like myself, is a vetreran of the Korean War. He stated he visits this cemetery every Memorial Day to honor those veterans buried here.

Very nice work Ken and thank you for your service!

BTW, the cemetery you visited reminds me a little of one here in NYC called Cypress Hills National Cemetery: http://dezsantana.com/cypress
Thanks Dez. I looked at your gallery on the Cypress Hil cemetery and it looks like great to visit and photograph. Have you ever been there on a Memorial Day weekend when the flags are at the graves?
