The following shots were taken at the above settings. I got out late as I had some work to do. After the sunset shots I was driving out and there was a lady getting into her car and said there had been several rails. I've taken these before much better but here is what the camera will do in the dark. The creek runs north and south and I was in a bank facing west. The birds were nothing more that brown shapes. No way I'd use the flash on these gentle birds. The lady stayed in her car but got out and asked what I shot. She could not believe I could get an image let alone how some color lit up. To me amazing.
