Met the old Lady

Discussion in 'People' started by PhotoWorks, Jun 13, 2007.

  1. I happened to meet her in a photo trip last year in an almost abandoned village.
Her face, engraved from mother nature and father time tells stories of mystery and imagination. They sound they're coming from a past we don't know...

    S2Pro + Tamron SP90.

Great capture! A face where each line tells a tale.
  4. That's a beautiful capture... I'd like to sit down and hear some of the stories she has to tell!!
  5. Very nice shot Billy,

We can see she's got some life behind her and her face show's
it in a beautifull way even if some pain down the road.

An old person can surely be as much of a beauty as a young model.
  6. Wow! Thank you all for your kind comments!!

I really like this image and the character you have captured. Some of us (me in particular) like B&W. Have you considered doing this one in B&W? I think it would really shine.

On the contrary, I think this portrait deserves all the information the camera captured. Great stuff

Not only an outstanding capture of life and character, but the lighting in this is "Old Masters" quality.
