Miami at Night

recently i went to downtown Miami for vacation with my girlfriend. from my hotel window I had a decent view of the city. i only had the 50mm 1.8 lens with me at the time so i did the best I could.

Nothing wrong with your shot and nothing wrong with your 50mm lens.
As Alex pointed out, that red building is called Freedom Tower. It used to receive the first Cuban refugees in the 60's but today it is a Museum.

yes this is the 1.8G Nikkor lens

Thanks for the input guys i appreciate it. I am new to long exposure shooting and other styles, so i practice when i can, this is going on my second year of owning a DSLR
