    Beatiful shot! If you don't mind me asking, what lens do you mostly use to do macro work?
     
  3. I use 2 lenses. The Nikkor 60mm Micro 2.8 and the Tamron 180mm Macro 3.5
    The 180 is my favorite and has been used for this picture.

    It's a very young female [SIZE=-1]Pyrrhosoma nymphula, drying on an Iris sibirica leave in my garden pond.

    you're killing me. This shot transcends documentary macro and exists as a fine art shot.....but you already know this.
