I did spend a little time in Final Cut Pro on it a few days ago and it seemed plenty zippy to me. So far I have no complaints. It is much faster than my 2010 i7. I bought the 2tb fusion drive and it starts up and shuts down so quickly. I also bought the upgraded graphics card and I have 16 GB ram. The software programs open up really fast. I feel confident that it is going to have plenty of power for my uses.
